Amanda was flexible when everything changed for our wedding due to COVID. She drove 3 hours to rural Iowa, which was not the initial plan! And despite the bitter cold and crazy wind, she got AMAZING shots of our day! Having good photos of our day was very important to me, so all this means a lot! <3 <3

What is all day coverage?
All day coverage is typically an 8-10 hour time frame that starts from the final getting ready moments (before getting into the dress) all the way through first look, individual portraits, wedding party portraits, family portraits, ceremony, bride and groom portraits, reception entrance, cake cutting, dinner, toasts, first dance, parent dances, to roughly one hour post-dinner.
Do you bring an assistant/second photog?
Sometimes, but not always. I oftten have an assistant to help with things throughout the day, but I am comfortable and capable of shooting a wedding solo. Though a full time second shooter is an add-on that many client love!
How long have you been shooting weddings?
I've been shooting weddings for almost 20 years! I shot weddings before I shot any other type of portraits. So you can rest assured I know exactly how to ensure your special day is fun and stress free!

Sometimes you bring a kid a disposable camera to a family session and accidentally create a tiny second photographer. 🥹
I brought Lila a camera so she could document the night right alongside me, and apparently she took her assignment very seriously. Her mom just sent me a photo Lila took of me taking a photo of her, while my daughter was behind me filming the whole thing. And I don’t know why, but that little full-circle moment absolutely got me. ❤️
As for the O’Neill family themselves… good freaking luck narrowing this session down. 😂 Golden light, wildflowers, belly laughs, kids being kids, and SO many little moments that couldn’t have been planned if we tried.

Four kids, endless energy, wildflower fields, golden light, and all the beautiful in-between moments that happen when everyone simply gets to be themselves.
